Launched in the UK on 1st November 2004, The Range Rover Discovery 3 is the 3rd revision of Land Rover's legendary off road vehicle. This model is far from just a facelift, it is a completely new model.
Land Rover knew that their Range Rover models set the bench mark for all 4x4 vehicles. It had to appeal to a wide spectrum of users, from the school-run mum to the wealthy businessman, whilst remaining functional and as cost effective to run as possible.
Judging by the amount of vehicles sold, it is easy to see that Land Rover have got this right.
Launched in May 2005 in the UK, this fifth model in the Land Rover model range. The Range Rover Sport is built on the chassis and slightly modified under-pinnings of Discovery 3, but the Sport only has 5 seats which means that the chassis has been shortened to give the Sport the dynamics and sporty appeal to rival the likes of the BMW X5.
Sports Utility Vehicles such as the Range Rover Sport have recently recieved bad press (regarding green issues) but this aside, the Range Rover Sport is a formidable vehicle which just keeps getting better and better.
The Range Rover was first launched in the UK in 1970, and the Vogue is latest refinement of that model. The original Range Rover was aimed at rural owners with a need for a vehicle to perform over rough terrain. Land Rover soon realised a gap in the market existed for a premium sports utility vehicle which would be at home both on the motorway and on the B roads of Great Britain.
This generation of Range Rover was introduced in 2002 and has quickly established itself as the main player in this tough market. A choice of 3 engines (2 petrol and 1 diesel) means that there is a Range Rover to suit everyone.
Strong engines, tough chassis and luxurious interiors make this Range Rover the benchmark for all other 4x4's.
